The Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society, Inc. (“Martinet”) and the New Orleans Martinet Legal Foundation, Inc., the 501(c)(3) non-profit branch of Martinet (the “Foundation”), held our Annual Scholarship Gala and Jazz Brunch, entitled “Lift Ev’ry Voice and Sing: A Celebration of Standing Up for Justice,” (“Gala”) at the Hyatt Regency New Orleans, 601 Loyola Avenue, New Orleans, Louisiana, on Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 11:00 am.
Each year, the Martinet Society and the Foundation host the Gala to raise funds to provide scholarships to deserving undergraduate and law students and to fund Martinet’s community service efforts that effectuate change and benefit our community-at-large. This year, through the generosity of our donors and our over 300 attendees, we were able to provide $15,000 in scholarships to local undergraduate and law students.
