We are thrilled to announce Honorable Dana Douglas as our January Member of the Month! She was recently sworn in as a Magistrate Judge for the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Louisiana! She is a Past President of the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society and the Immediate Past President of the New Orleans Bar Association. Currently, she is a former Shareholder with Liskow Lewis in the New Orleans office and has practiced in a variety of practice areas in state and federal courts in Louisiana.
Magistrate Douglas is a graduate of Loyola University of New Orleans School of Law where she served as Editor-in-Chief of the Loyola University Public Interest Law Journal. After graduating law school, she clerked for the Honorable Ivan L.R. Lemelle of the United States District Court Judge for the Eastern District of Louisiana. In 2008, she received the Louisiana State Bar Association President’s Award and was twice selected as one of the Top 50 “Leaders in Law” in New Orleans. She was also most recently named to New Orleans CityBusiness’ ‘Women of the Year’ 2017 and was the recipient of the 2018 National Bar Association Women Lawyers Division Outstanding Minority Partner in Majority Firm Award. Magistrate Douglas is a beacon of light in the legal community, and we are honored to recognize her as our January Member of the Month!
