Tough, Ambitious, Different: Women Moving Up the Ranks of Bar Leadership

In 2019, female law students comprise approximately half of law school enrollments; however, leadership statistics within the legal profession do not reflect a comparable female presence. This discussion will highlight the important benefits that female attorney leaders bring to the legal profession and bar associations in particular. Panelists will share their unique journeys to the leadership ranks of their bar associations, and they will analyze the events, people, and circumstances that hampered and aided them along the way. Panelists also will identify strategies, avoidable pitfalls, and resources for female attorneys aspiring to assume leadership roles within bar associations. All attendees will receive 1-Hour of LA CLE credit and a light lunch.
