Off the Record: An Open Discussion About Stress, Pressure, and Mental Health in the Legal Community

The legal profession is a rewarding, and stressful, profession. Lawyers often suffer from mental health disorders and experience stress at a disproportionate rate compared to other professions. Despite these numbers, mental health discussions are seen as taboo in most legal circles. However, it is time we break the silence and shed the stigma on mental health in our community.
Join the Greater New Orleans Louis A. Martinet Legal Society’s Raising the Bar and Mental Health and Wellness Committees as we present, “Off the Record: An Open Discussion About Stress, Pressure, and Mental Health in the Legal Community” on March 3, 2022, at 5:30 p.m. at New Orleans Social House, 725 Tchoupitoulas Street, New Orleans, LA 70130. Our interactive and honest session will discuss resources available to attorneys struggling with burnout and mental health issues and provide tips on how to overcome mental health issues in the legal community.
